Decisions in Paradise: Part 1

The Island of Keva is in the South Pacific and is facing many unfortunate circumstances that have involved natural disasters. This small island is in the dire need for some help and assistance from my organization for the children of this island. Keva demographics is 50% under 15 years of age. My main mission on this island is to help this island to improve the lives of the people of Keva and continue on the direction of success and growth by building a YMCA organization.

The YMCA intention is for the organization to have facilities feasible at many of their existing communities. The YMCA organization is all about reaching out and supporting the communities they are going to be a involved in. The YMCA, is devoted to supporting the youth and helping the island of Keva to mend from all the disasters the island has gone through. Kava was a country with lots of serious potential risk associated with it such as: disease, terrorism, threat of natural disasters, volcanic eruptions, earthquakes. The organization would have to face lack of available employees due to age requirements. Also, there was a broad ethnic mix of indigenous South Pacific tribes, Asian, African, French, and Spanish. Communication would be tough. The positive side of Kava is that the labor is inexpensive quality labor and the country was full of natural resources. The government of Kava has asked the organization to consider there island as a place to establish our business to help rebuild their economy due to the devastation of natural disaster. The national YMCAs organizations are strongly implanted in their communities.

The YMCA has concluded to build their organization on the island of Kava. Presented to build a YMCA organization on the island the management team determined that the most cost effective option is to build this center in the right community.
