In today Business driven world it is very important to be able to communicate in front of an audience. In the delivery of important information it is key that it is intended to reach all personnel that are in attendance. Speeches or presentation should be clear and effective. Most audiences are very diverse and from all different backgrounds, lifestyles, cultures, and professional status. It is important to know the make up of your audiences in order for you to gain knowledge in advance what type of restriction or questions that will redirected to you as a speaker. A good salesperson generally is equipped with the gift to persuade. I have been called on to conduct a quarterly sales meeting to a group of managers, customers, stakeholders, and managers.

When addressing an audience their characteristics are very important. Before the meeting is conducted I will conduct as much information about my audience to include professional and educational background. Knowing the audience experience level and English language is also very important in the case that reading is required. The audience religion, race, age and income level should also be taken in to account. When addressing the audience and majority of your audience is male and the language is filled with humor with female analogies the audience will probably take offense to that or not understand the information that you are relaying to them. I will familiarize myself with the job functions and the positions. In gathering this information I can deliver the message without the overuse of technical terms or a glossary that tends to cause the audience confusion. I will try to figure out a commonality among the audience. I will also look at the numbers of progression in the company to get an understanding of the moral of the audience. If the moral is high it probably means that the audience enjoy their job and their may not have suffered any job cuts, growth in stocks, and sales are up. If the moral...
