Being an online student at University of Phoenix can be a little hectic and a little bit more overwhelming as many think. As students try to balance what their life is with school, work, and social events it can be very difficult to juggle everything that one has to do in their life. In understanding what needs to get done in school it all has to do with being able to stay organized and mentally ground to understand what you truly need to do to make sure that your life stays in order.
On the website, www.collegeathome.com, it explains different steps on how students should be able to get through their college days in which they are able to understand what needs to be done in order to stay in touch with school assignments. One of the “basic” things a student should do when in school is writing things down. When writing a list of everything that you have to do for school it allows you to really keep track of what you have to do, whether it’s with school or in your everyday life. Writing all your “to do” list, also helps people to stay organized in what needs to get done. For example, noting to yourself at such and such time, than you would know that at that specific time that you have to do this assignment that you have chosen to do. Another suggestion that this website suggests is the fact of doing one thing at a time. Trying to do different things all at the same time does not help the situation. Furthermore, it will drive you crazy, taking time to do what needs to get done, and doing time management. Understanding to not procrastinate on what needs to get done for classes. Doing what needs to get done and what is important little at a time will help mentally realize that it’s not as hard to try to finish everything all in one night.
