This movies was an epic historical drama film, It was directed by William Wyler and produced by Sam Zimbalist. It was set in ancient Rome. The movie was about a wealthy prince and his merchant in Jerusalem. Messala (Prince) after several years away from Jerusalem he returns as a new commander and has the strength. Ben-Hur was devoted his time of faith and freedom for the Jewish people.Melassa who has the power asked Ben-Hur for the names of the Jews and Ben-Hur refused. After three years Ben-Hur was assigned to the flagship of the Roman Consul Flagship.Ben-Hur declines the offer and declaring that God will aid him quest for vengeance. Ben-Hur returns to Judea, he meets the Arab Sheikh (Balthasar) who asks him to drive his quadriga in a race before the new Judean governor ,but of course Ben-Hur declines ,even after he learns that champion charioteer Messala will also compete .So when Ben-Hur returns to his home Jerusalem he met with Esther, Esthar was arranging a marriage with Ben-Hur and it didn’t occur even though she is still in love with him. During the chariot race Ben-hur went to compete and with the prince, and the prince attempted to destroy Ben-Hur chariot and instead Messala destroyed his own. And Ben-Hur won the Chariot race. In the end of the movie Ben-Hur reunited with his mother and sister because Messala was holding them as a prisoner.

This movie was really important, A massive $14.7 million marketing offered helped promote Ben-Hur.More than 2,000 high schools in 47 American cities to gauge teenage interest in the film.
