Decisions in Paradise

As discussed in the previous papers the problems with Kava is the once beautiful tropical island has now been trampled and torn apart by several natural disasters. The goal of Ericsson was to establish a positive presence in Kava. Rebuilding, assisting with the education of the people, and working with the other agencies was key to meeting the goals established by the Ericsson.

After determining the critical success factors, which is the need for the company to be rebuilt, therefore the country can once again gain from the tourist industry. Rebuilding the country is not something that can be done alone by Ericsson. Ericsson must align itself with the other agencies that are inspiring to do the same thing. Together they must come up with strategies that are economical and will at the same keep the people of Kava involved in building the country back to what it once was if not better. The employees of Ericsson will be working side by side with the agencies and people of Kava. There must be a natural disaster plan in place that is to be implemented when something else happens. The people must be educated in all areas in Kava. Ericsson can assist with this by offering workshops, donating money as well as time in schools, and opening up jobs to the people in Kava.

Ericsson can also establish a market that competitive and yet still be profitable to the company by offering special rates on their products to the citizens of Kava. Ericsson will also implement ways to boost the economy through the petroleum, coffee, cocoa, spices, bananas, sugar, tourism, fishing and natural gas resources in Kava (University of Phoenix, N.D.). Moreover, Ericsson will create workshops or seminars on ways to improve and become more prosperous with the resources that are found in Kava.
