Drugs are taken for many different reasons, people can be bored, trying to fit in, or they might be depressed. Whatever the case drugs can have terrible and long lasting effects on the human body. Drugs can have many negative effects on the human body, both mentally and physically. Some of these effects may even be irreversible and something the user has to live with the rest of their life. Drugs can destroy lives, tear apart families, and put people in jail. Some people just use drugs here and there and think it’s no big deal. Drugs can lead you down a bad road to nowhere and they can ruin lives.

Doing any drug can cause a person to experience all sorts of things. Some drugs may intensify or dull your senses alter your sense of alertness, and they can cause people to hallucinate. Drugs can do all kinds of things to you and depending on what type of drug you take and how you take it you can intensify the effects. Drugs can be inhaled, swallowed, injected, or smoked. Some of them can make a person feel good and like nothing can go wrong. They can be fun and make a person feel better about themselves and that’s why most people do them. People can also do them because they are peer pressured into it by their friends. Some people can even take them because they think it will make them better at sports. They may make a person feel like they’re on top of the world and nothing can hurt them. And this feeling is what gets a lot of people into trouble. People can lose the ability to make smart decisions and do things that they normally wouldn’t do without thinking about the consequences. People can have unprotected sex, which can lead to pregnancies and STDs. Others may even try to get behind the wheel and drive a car.
