Introduction

A Strategy can be a Management Model developed to meet the objectives of the Organisation by taking into consideration of Organisation’s policy, Resources, Mission statement, past results and forecasts for the future. Every company strategy will be unique and complex depending on the type of objectives & targets set for the future. Strategic Management involves critical thinking, planning of resources, Analysis of market, pricing, social responsibility and Environmental affect. Corporate strategy is a part of strategic management where a large Multi-national Organisation regulates the power of control to its subordinate branches to achieve the overall objective of the Organisation. Sometimes each subordinate branch acts as autonomous body and manages using the financial and human resources provided by parent body to achieve the overall objective.

Role of HR in Organisation Culture

Human Resource Management plays a key role in corporate strategies. Functions like Job requirement and job description, Technology Management, Employee performance evaluation and right attitude towards Organisation culture, Succession planning and forecasting plays vital role in developing a strategy once problem analysis is done. In Multi-national Organisation the Organisational culture can get complex and it is not a deliberate one. Most Organisational cultures are formed accidentally and to design culture deliberately one has to create new experiences for employee’s to learn, apply and reflect (Flinchbaugh, J., p.1).
