Instructions The following survey should be filled out for each school in your district. The information you provide will help in the initial setup of your information system.

Calendar What is the first date students will be in school for the upcoming year?

What is the last date students will be in school for the upcoming year? Assuming there is no school on Saturdays or Sundays, list all days during the school year that school is NOT in session: List all days during the school year that are not a full day (ie: half days) and the number of minutes in the day:

Marking Periods A “marking period” is a period of time in which a student may receive a grade. This includes semesters or trimesters, quarters, the end of the year, or mid-terms. Here are some example marking period configurations: Semesters (two marking periods): S1, S2. Semesters and Yearly Grade (three marking periods): S1, S2, FY. Quarters (four marking periods): Q1, Q2, Q3, and Q4. Quarters and Yearly Grade (five marking periods): Q1, Q2, Q3, Q4, FY.
