The roll crusher is a necessary equipment to increase the production of ball mill in the new dry process cement production. The rolls give the crushing pressure to the materials ,at the same time, it is worn by the high stress , forming a pit or pocking mark on the surface of the roll skin. Thus ,the surfacing welding of the roll surface is one of the necessary technology with which the manufacturer manufactures the roll crusher. The surfacing welding steps of the roll surface of the roll crusher are four, namely, selection of the electrode, roller surface processing, choice of the AC electric welding machine, the surfacing welding sequence and thickness.

1.The selection of the electrode

Choose the D - 65 - D - 667 and 506 electrode, before surfacing welding, dry the electrodes ,and put them in the incubator for standby , according to the electrode instructions. The chosen surfacing welding material not only has good abrasion resistance, but also has high toughness and fatigue resistance.

2. The roller surface processing

Clean the roll surface thoroughly with a carbon arc air gouging , remove the residual hard layer, crack , dust and rust, etc,on the roll surface, make it show the metal luster. And then, weld with the wear-resisting repair welding rods directly. Before the surfacing welding, dry the electrodes ,preheat the weldment and adopt slow cooling after the surfacing welding.

3.The choice of the AC electric welding machine

Select the AC electric welding machine whose power is more than 20,000 kVA .For the surfacing welding, the current will be subject to the fully amalgamation of the electrode and the parent metal ,to form the required wear-resisting organization.

4. The surfacing welding sequence and thickness

After preheating the roll surface , firstly, carry out 1-3 layers with the 506 surfacing electrodes , and then carry out several surfacing layers with the D-667 evenly reaching the proper thickness. After the D - 667 surfacing welding layer is...
