Vocational School Article Response

Adults who earned a high school degree that struggle to succeed in college have another opportunity. Career education through vocational school provides students with diverse opportunities to learn a skill or trade. There are many well paid career fields in which a college degree is not required. I have been in college for about a year now and for the most part it has been a repeat of high school. I feel as if I have wasted a year by taking General ED courses and not the classes I need for my major right away. I have always felt college should just be about your major and the General Ed should be covered in high school. It is really hard to improve your unique skills in college when there is no desire to learn and is repetitive day after day of what you did four years before.

What I find that is so great about vocational schools is the Short term courses .Since vocational and technical schools are only short term courses you can easily look for jobs. If you are a graduate of a vocational school you can start working either as instructor in schools or on the skill which you have developed and mastered during your vocational days in school. Enrolling in short term course careers could always save you money or from the pockets of your parents because the tuition is only very low as compared to degree courses available in many universities of the world.

Typically vocational and technical schools are designed for those who need or like to work with their hands or prefer work skills that require active engagement. These same people do not like to sit behind a desk and enjoy jobs which have changing experiences. There are plenty of benefits of vocational schools that are known facts; higher hourly wages compared with those who have only a high school degree, Hands-on work activities that allow application of knowledge, Leading to employment opportunities which offer greater responsibilities, Learning new work skills to meet...
