MY EXPERIENCES IN LIFE

Willing to accept failures smilingly:

It was during my Interview of TCS I faced an awkward situation. I was the last one to be interviewed .They asked me many questions in technical that I answered rightly but one was a very typical question I should have known and could not answer. They asked me to find answer to that in half a minute. I rushed out the room running; questioning everyone. Luckily internet lab was on same floor with one of the computer on working. I typed in the keywords got the answer. But by the time I reached the panel they said time is over and sorry they can’t offer me the job. I still accepted this statement with a smile and said ‘Thank you’. Then when they saw I still not upset they replied ‘welcome to TCS’ as they were impressed with this quality.

Ability to resolve problems: Problem solver

In my final semester project one of my group members was not performing the tasks assigned to her. I counselled her; tried to find out the issue and came to know that she was not comfortable with the tasks assigned to her. I got her tasks exchanged with another group member and successfully completed our project.

Diverse background:

My father is DGM in ONGC. He is in a transferable job and hence I have studied and stayed in different parts of the country which has added to my personality and experiences. Gujrat’s business acumen, simplicity and family unity; Mumbai’s vibrant and cosmopolitan outlook is incomparable and the kind of opportunities Delhi’s study culture, entertainment, sports and so on. This also helps me in adjusting well with people.

Open to change:

There have been many significant changes in my life. Since junior classes I used to be one of the brightest students of my class but was shy to interact. I was fortunate to get very supportive teachers who guided me. I worked hard, participated in several events which boosted my confidence.
