I. INTRODUCTION

A. Statement of the Problem/ Objectives

This study aims to determine the potential of the mixture of Chrysanthemum flower (Dendranthema grandiflorum) and Chili Pepper fruit (Capsicum annuum) extracts as repellent for aphids.

Specifically, this study aims for the following:

1. To find out if the mixture of Chrysanthemum flower and Chili Pepper fruit extract can be an alternative repellent for aphids attacking banana trees.

2. To find out the extent of effectiveness of the biopesticide against aphids on banana trees.

3. To find out the most effective concentration of the mixture.

B. Problems

1. Is the mixture of the Chrysanthemum flower (Dendranthema grandiflorum) and Chili Pepper fruit (Capsicum annuum) extracts being a potential repellent for aphids attacking banana trees?

4. What is the extent of effectiveness of the biopesticide against aphids on banana trees?
