1 MAIN ISSUE

A qualitative and quantitative evaluation to explore and describe the characteristics of nine creative concepts from eight different advertisements selected from two commercial magazines; namely The Gardener and the SA Forestry, August 2013 editions, by means of a crosssectional content analysis.

2 RESEARCH CRITERIA
