EXECUTIVE SUMMARY

The main objective of setting up a DR site is to ensure that MDEC’s email system and their main website are accessible at all times. Setting up the DR site readiness requires systems downtime during the initial setup to ensure all data are synchronised at both the primary locations (MDEC building) and the DR site

Identifying, taking risks and encourage innovation accelerates growth and stimulates creativity for the long-term. Uncertainties are definitely a certainty in project environments. Risks were identified and the mitigation action plans and executions require the project timeline to be shifted accordingly.

The delay in the overall project schedule tightened the timeline scheduled for the procurement management. However there was a slight delay in the delivery of the hardware. In conclusion the project was completed slightly behind schedule. Generally the project was considered a success based on the project was completed, project deliverables accepted by client, MDEC and payment made to all relevant vendors and Iperintis for the services rendered as per outlined in the ICT Outsourcing Contract statement of work.
