Here is a conditional statement that will represent the starting point for the argument you will make:

If students are allowed to use technology such as computers, calculators and tablets, then they will be able to develop a deeper understanding of the math concepts presented within their course.

Part 1: Using the conditional statement provided above write the inverse, converse and contrapositive statements.

Part 2: Use any statement you created for Part 1 to write an essay detailing your point of view. You may agree or disagree with any statement from Part 1. Remember that formulating an essay takes research and time to get yourself to the point where you can defend your position thoroughly. You must provide evidence to support and strengthen your claim. Also, show any limitations and weaknesses of opposing evidence you find. Your essay should be written in a formal style that is clear and coherent. Finally, make sure to provide a conclusion that supports the argument you presented within the body of your essay.
