Part ONE- Evangelistic Method #1

The Roman Roads Evangelism Method, is simple step by step guideline to lead an unsaved individual to salvation, using scripture from the book of Romans. These scriptures are in order and use specific highlights from Romans chapters three through ten, to represent a persons sinful state, a cognitive understanding of salvation and to invite God into their hearts.

The advantages of using the Roman Roads method, is that it is so basic and so laid out, anyone, of any age, that is willing to share Christ's message, can lead a person to salvation. All that is needed is a passion and a bible.

Disadvantages of using the Roman Roads Evangelism Methods, is that it is a cookie cutter approach to evangelism and does not fit everyone’s circumstances. If an unsaved individual has questions outside the parameters of whats in the book of Romans, those questions may not get answered, creating confusion and distrust. Also, if the person has no religious foundation, they will not understand what is being read to them or it's significance. This method is for those who already have some type of religious background and understanding of the Gospel.
