The Grizzly Bear Lodge
Rudy and Diane Conrad currently own a lodge outside of Yellow Stone Park. It has fifteen rooms and accommodates forty guests. Their customers are their top priority. The lodge serves a continental breakfast during the week and a full breakfast on the weekends, but accommodations are always made if a customer desires something other than what is served. Rudy and Diane run their business, but they do also have a cook and two waitpersons for the weekend, housekeeping, groundskeeper, and a front desk employee. They recently received an offer from a location near them to expand their business even more. The expansion would be equivalent to an additional twenty rooms for even more business.
The partner at this time can take preliminary actions to make as much profit as they can at this point. They use preliminary control, or feedforward, to prevent anything to happen before it does. They currently are making their customer as their top priority which may ensure that they will repeat business as well as recommend them to someone else. The Conrads have an average salary of about $70,000 after everything has been paid including the payroll, mortgage, and maintenance. To prevent any financial trouble in the future, they should save as much as they can right now. This would allow for any extra work and renovations that the new expansion would need. Rudy and Diane would also need to hire more staff to prevent any unsatisfied customers; this would include more housekeepers and possibly more workers for the front desk. The bigger the number of people there would be, the more kitchen and waitpersons they would need in order to keep the service prompt. The Conrads also planned to open the Grizzly Bear Lodge year round which would mean they would need to collaborate with other companies to offer exciting and new activities for their guests.
The pair can take concurrent controls based on the satisfaction of their customers as well as return rate....
