Role and Function of Law

The behavior within the business can be regulated through laws to ensure the proper standards and guidelines are followed. The laws provide a way to resolve conflict as well as give leaders option to enforce those rules broken by individuals. The law lets us celebrate our freedom, keep society on an even playing field, provide guidelines for government, and ways to keep justice for all. There are many definitions to law, but it is critical that law not be used in a broad sense because we need structure to move forward throughout society. Law provides stability to society, while given guidelines to those violating the rules. If a rule is broken within society it is labeled a crime, which in most cases that person will be arrested, prosecuted, or even punished by govern body. Most importantly, laws resolve conflict and dispute fairly without causing major disruption within our society.
