I am glad to say that I am proud to be a Filipino living in his beloved country, the Philippines. Surely, there are a million reasons why both Filipinos and non-Filipinos love my country. It could be because of the delicious food we eat, the breathtaking views in some sites, or even the geniality of the Filipinos. The Philippines is the best place for me, not because I spent my whole life here but I just feel that a lot of people love this place. I love the Philippines for several reasons. Firstly, it is because of the pride that can be seen in us. We can prove to the world that we can do things that are impressive. Some people may think that Filipinos are weak, lame, uncreative, or anything negative, but anyone can say that these are all false. We, Filipinos are talented, enthusiastic, hospitable, and a lot more. We can be greater that others. Another reason why the Philippines is a lovable country is because of the sights that can be found anywhere throughout the country. Some examples are the Banaue Rice Terraces, which was a part of the Wonders of the World, the majestic Mayon Volcano, which has a shape of an almost perfect cone, and the wonderful Manila Bay, which is a great view of the sky every sunset. Anyone who would visit our country would want to go back to see again these sights. The food of the Filipinos is very piquant! They can move and shake your taste buds, and it just leaves you to wanting to taste it again. I love adobo and sinigang so much. I also like lechon, pancit, pinakbet, and many more. Because of these foods, I wouldn’t look for any other type of food. The climate is just fine. To me, having four seasons could be difficult. Experiencing winter could be difficult because not lot of people would live well. Yes, hot weather is better that cold weather.
