Project Description:

As the owner of a sporting goods store with two locations, you have decided to analyze the second quarter revenue and use that data to project revenue totals for the third quarter. To complete the task, you will create and modify PivotTables and a PivotChart. Additionally, you will use trace arrows and error checking to correct mistakes in your formulas.

Instructions:

For the purpose of grading the project you are required to perform the following tasks:

2 | With the Qrt2 Revenue worksheet displayed, insert a PivotTable on a new worksheet using the range A1:D37. | 10 |

3 | In the PivotTable, use the Month field as the Report Filter. Use the Location field as the Row Labels and the Department field as the Column Labels. Place the Total Revenue field in the Values area, and then close the PivotTable Field List. | 8 |

4 | Modify the value field settings in the PivotTable so that values are formatted as currency with two decimal places. | 6 |

5 | Insert a slicer for the Location field and for the Department field. Apply Slicer Style Light 3 to the Location slicer and Slicer Style Dark 3 to the Department slicer. | 8 |
