McDonald’s Planning For The Future

McDonald’s website it said that, “McDonald’s was start in 1940 had a barbeque place by Dick and Mac Donald which feature large menu and car hop service” (Bullington, 2010). McDonald’s website say that, “Dick and Mac Donald decide to close their restaurant down in 1948 for three months so they could establish a new restaurant which included nine menu items” (Bullington, 2010). McDonald’s had plan for management functions. Legal issues, ethics, and corporate social responsibility for McDonald’s are Shrek glass, diversity, and going green. McDonald’s is influences by three factors, which included happy meal toys, nutrient, and packing, for example strategic, tactical, and operational.

McDonald’s Planning Management Functions

“Mission statement for McDonald’s is our customers’ favorite place and way to eat” (Bullington, 2010). “McDonalds is defining for customer service by offering five customer experiences which include people, products, place, price, and promotion” (Bullington, 2010). McDonald’s website had five goals category that included supply chain, nutrition, environmental, employment, and community. Supply chain for McDonald’s had five goals that included educate and communication, policy for global forestry, measure environment impacts, policy for consumer packing, and nine markets for global packing scorecard. Nutrition for McDonald’s had three goals, which included expand food and beverage choice for children, offer children programs, and provide nutrition information for people. Environmental for McDonald’s had two goals energy efficient and innovative. McDonald’s three employment goals are Hamburger University certified employee’s engagement, and values.
