Model 3.1 has many terms in the manager model. Influence is very important in the model; it means affecting a person, a course of events, or an outcome or change. Function goes along with influencing because it describes duties that closely related to another thing and depends on it for its existence. Resources is crucial; resources is the supply from which benefit is produced. Reaching is required for the management model. Management has to reach and extend the product potential. A part of reaching out requires them to target a population as well as getting a strategy that maintains the product success. Goal is the outcome of the management model; at the end of it all they want success which makes that the goal.

A sports club is the perfect organization to explain how the model works. It is easy to influence athletes of a sports club. Even though a sports club is only recreational it is still easy to influence them. People who join sports clubs already want to play; they have a love for whatever sport they are trying out for. It is easy to influence people to join as well because if you can get them to believe that your program is the best or get them to side with you in joining you have just influenced them. Recruiting right and being fair is related to having a successful club because if you can get recruit right you will be successful. If you are fair as well you will have a successful club. Clubs have resources such as facilities, equipment, sponsorships and other resources. If they don’t have resources such as a facility to practice that means there is no club. It is important for them to reach out as well because there are many businesses that offer sponsorships and if you can reach out to them they can provide things such as uniforms or provide food for events and games.
