Q. What are the distinctive competencies of your company?

The Entercom Communications has been operating multiple radio stations across the major corners of the country. As Entercom realizes the future goal, it remained committed to acquisition. The company has certain unique capabilities that allow them to make the track into the desired markets and gain advantage over the competition.

As per the company, there are several approaches for the success of the company.

* To retain best employees- The company has a different approach towards the recruitment, develop and hiring procedures as compared to its competitors. It creates an environment to develop strong sense of community bonds and corporate culture to attract the best employees from different corners. One of the approaches includes providing opportunity for the employees for the personal growth by involving them in different trainings, seminars and other educational programs.1

* Develop market leading cluster- The Company’s 90% revenue are earned from these large clusters of market share. So to optimize the potential the company aligns the stations format and the sales effort in each market both individually and collectively.1

* Acquiring under performance stations- The Company always keeps an eye to acquire the underperformance or small company that has the potential for the significant improvements in revenues by using the operational expertise from the parent company. The company uses their modern technology to develop underachieving properties. The modern technology includes different strategic market research, management enhancement; technical upgrades and refocuses on the expenditures.1

* Strong branded franchises- The Company analyzes the market and looks for different competitive factors to identify the format, music and the other programming attributes that has the capability to develop a distinctive identity and enforce the brand value.1
