Demonstration Speech Outline
“How To Make A Birthday Cake”
Specific Purpose: To demonstrate for my classmates (how to make a birthday cake at home very easily and inexpensive way).
INTRODUCTION
I. Attention-getter: Birthday...It's a very special day in every persons life. Who don't like to celebrate this day with their loveable one. And without a birthday cake the celebration is incomplete.
II. Purpose Statement: Today I'm here,to demonstrate to you all how YOU, yes YOU can impress your partner,friends,kids or any important person in your life who you love by making a simple but pretty birthday cake for them.
III. Credibility: I found this recipe on Youtube and tried at home several times. It's so easy and really worth-able. And now I'm kinda very good at it.
IV. Preview Statement: I will be covering two main points today. First the materials/ingredients and second, the 8 simple steps to make the cake.
Transition: So now, let's begin with my first point. Preparing your materials/ingredients for this treat. But before you began make sure your hands are clean.
BODY
I. Materials/Ingredients: to begin,you will need the following things:
A. Cake mix (choose your flavor)
B. 3 eggs
C.1/3 cup vegetable oil
D. 1 cup water
E. Whipped cream
F. Chocolate syrup
G. Large mixing bowl
H. Mixer/Spoon
I. Baking pan
Transition: Now that we know our ingredients, we can begin with our steps to making the recipe.
There are 9 simple steps to making this cake.
A. Step 1: First, you must preheat your oven at 350 degree.
B. Step 2: Second in your large mixing bowl, combine the cake mix, eggs, vegetable oil and water.
C. Step 3: With an electronic hand mixer/ or spoon, mix all ingredients well until you get a smooth consistency.
D. Step 4: Prepare the pan by generously greasing the inside with oil/butter using a pastry brush.
E. Step 5: Pour or spoon batter into the pan.
F. Step 6: Bake for 30-40 minutes in the preheated...
