• • • • • • • • • • • • • • • Final Exams for Spring 2014 will be held from: Monday 10 November 2014 to Saturday 29 November 2014 Students should be available to attend exams for the entire exam period, including Saturdays. If relying on public transport, students should plan their trip in advance using the NSW Transport Info website: www.131500.com.au Students can find more information on exams at the following web page: www.uws.edu.au/currentstudents/current_students/managing_your_study Students should be aware of the Examination and Special Consideration policies: www.uws.edu.au/policies Deferred exams for Spring will be held in mid-December (Parramatta campus). Check your personalised exam timetable frequently up until the day of your examination. Timetable information can be found on PlatformWeb: https://platformweb10.uws.edu.au/signin.asp (Student access) Check your timetable location and time carefully. Your exam may not always be held on your campus of study. Only attend exams on your personalised exam timetable. Arrive 20 minutes before each exam. Plan your trip accordingly. Bring your student ID card – make sure it is signed, and has not expired. Bring a black or blue pen, pencil and eraser. Your mobile phone or electronic device must be placed face up on your desk in the exam room and powered off, including alarms and alerts. You face a $150 fine if they are found to be on, or emit a sound. It has been known to get very cold in the exam rooms. Make sure you bring something warm to wear just in case. Shivering does not help concentration.

Final exam instructions: Please read carefully before proceeding. This exam is worth 40% of total unit assessment. Note: You must pass the final exam to pass this unit.
