Introduction

Steve Jobs is one of the most successful leaders in the world. I selected the biography "Steve Jobs" by Walter Isaacson and published by Little Brown Book Group for my reflective essay. Why did I choose this book? It is because three reasons. First, he is a genius in the information technology industry. Second, his company “Apple” nowadays is the most famous in the world. Last but not least, he also is my favorite idol. Before I read this book, I think I can know more about his history and philosophy. However, after I read the book, this book is not only telling me his past and also let me know his attitude. He is a never give up people. It is because in the middle of his life, he fired by Apple, but after his hard work, Apple rehired him to become the director. Lastly, he used his ability to become the Chief-Executive Officer. It can let me know about his positive energy attitude in his life. According to my research, I remember some words from him. “People think focus means saying yes to the thing you've got to focus on. I'm actually as proud of the things we haven't done as the things I have done. Innovation is saying no to 1,000 things.” This quotation reminds me why he can be the king of the Information Technology. This essay purpose is going to let us know his leader skill used in the Apple and reflect his attitude is same as me or different as me. Trait theories, Leadership Style, Leader-Member Exchange Theory and...
