Executive Summary

Maryland Computer Inc. has been in business for a 2 years now and has seen a steady increase in profit. They are now interested in adding a new business aspect to the firm that will raise even more revenue and establish them as a dominant IT company in their region. One of the primary goals of Maryland Computer Inc. is to become a bigger company and expand into other regions. The company has aspirations of becoming more productive and being able to handle larger numbers of customers. Maryland Computer Inc. thrives in providing their customers with superior help desk services, customer service, and computer devices. However, the company has realized that they have been operating without a component that their competitors have held over them since their first day of operations. The component missing is their lacking ability to connect to internet to conduct business. Once operational, Maryland Computer Inc. will be able to communicate quicker with its customers, business partners and themselves. Maryland Computer Inc. will operating at a higher efficiency rate, and will be capable of completing more business tasks simultaneously.

User Acceptance Criteria

Maryland Computer Inc. at minimum expect to have an up and running server room that provides network connectivity to its employees and allows them to share resources, such as documents, e-mails, etc. Maryland Computer Inc.’s business partners expect to be able to communicate via over the network with the company, and also see improvement of business. Customers expect to have faster response times to questions and concerns about services provided by Maryland Computer Inc. Investors expect to see a small rise in the market or of their stocks.
