Executive Summary

GetGifted is an online platform where merchants are registered to help them to attract customers .It is especially benefited the local retailers and small business owners. TheGiftList provides merchants a way to highlight their business and brand, products and services. Their business and products get social exposure from consumers, who get gifted and positive word of mouth advertising and immediate in-store visits and detailed reporting on consumer interest and redemptions.

GetGifted is a platform with an idea of offering gifts to all ages, with an idea of making life easier for merchants and fun for costumers. Merchants are introduced to local consumers by building a loyal connection by offering free return gifts to them on their marketed dollars.

Gillian McCrae the founder of GetGifted thought of the challenges that merchants were facing to be connected with new customers for business growth. Therefore, this led to existence of GetGifted.

Furthermore, the primary audience for GetGifted is its target audience who are local merchants’ and local consumers of those merchants.

The challenge for GetGifted is finding the right target market and segmenting them to be successful.
