Boeing Company is the market leader of aviation industry with revenue of $81.7 billion and is growing at a swift pace gaining new orders and customers each year in 2011it backed 1203 new orders benchmarking the highest order taken and delivered 601 orders and gained-back its title as “Market Leader” from its competitor Airbus after 5 years.

Boeing expertise’s in different sectors of aviation industry like commercial jetliners, defence space and security system. Boeing employs 1,74,400 people worldwide operating 150 countries and has major partnership with NASA to provide them best technological support for space programs. It has become leading manufacturer of commercial jet over 4 decades and with its merger with McDonnell Douglas in 1977 had given it 70 years of experience in commercial aviation industry and made it leader of the market till 2005. It has a sales fleet of products like 737, 747, 767 and 787 families of commercial jetliners. Boeing has sold 75 percent of world’s jetliner fleet till date and provides round the clock service to its customer worldwide with best expertise and unsurpassed technological backup and support to operators maintaining their airplanes for peak operating conditions.

In last decade Boeing was focused on selling its flagship product 747 and highly invested on researching, developing and advancing technology, fuel-efficiency and most important replacing the steel body with new carbon composite material for the new series of jetliner planes. It introduced 3 new advanced jetliners the Boeing 787-8 Dreamliner, 747-8 and 737 Max but selling this product has been tougher challenge for Boeing.
