Structure

Vectura Company’s structure is «Line-Organization». This is the oldest as the most common type of organization. The characteristic feature of this type is that line of authority flows vertically form the top most executive to the lowest subordinate throughout the entire organizational stucture. The authority is greatest at the top and reduces through each successive level down the organizational scale.

The coordination mechanism of the company is «Direct Supervision», such mechanism accomplish coordination by taking all responsibility for the acts of clerks by giving directions.

Herewith an inextricable link, authority and responsibility that requires a balance between them. The high degree of responsibility with a lack of power will inevitably lead to defy the entrusted affairs and conflict between superiors and subordinates.

The company is headed by the Board of Management, chaired by the Managing Director. The Board is responsible for policy decisions and strategy. It is supported by 5 departments.

These departments are:

-Finance department

-Ocean freight department

-Road department

-Rail-road department

-Air freight department

Financial department

Financial department produces a report, showing how the company is doing and takes care of accounting and corporate. Moreover, finance department reviews the salaries.

Ocean freight department

Ocean freight department is able to arrange the movement by ocean or sea whether it is LCL or FCL shipment. It can offer a port-to-port or door-to-door service with all kinds of goods. This service could be Ro-Ro or Break-bulk as well. Also forwarders can offer transportation for all type of containers, like 20’, 40’, 45’ Open Top, Reefers, High Cube, Dry Container, Pallet Wide and FlatTreck.

Road Department
