Lady Gaga is a highly talented singer known for her elevated theatrics and ostentatious stage performances. Her music has attracted fans from across the globe, ranging from the gay community to young, impressionable fans that want to be different from the rest of the crowd, just like Lady Gaga. In 2009, the MTV Video Music Awards (VMA) gave Lady Gaga three of the most important honors: Best New Artist, Best Special Effects and Best Art Directions. In addition, being at that time not as famous as she is now, she performed that night her single “Paparazzi” which definitely was a success and the beginning of a prosperous career.
