Abstract
In recent years, policymakers and medical expert have expressed alarm about the growing of AIDS illness in the United States. To bring it closer to home lets look at the Bahamas. While most agree that the issue deserves attention, consensus dissolves around how to respond to the problem.

This examination of pharmacological treatments for HIV/AIDS points out the limitation of medication and suggests the need for a comprehensive solution that combine medical, social, behavioral, and political approaches to this complex problem.
