Special information :

1/ Only applicants in possession of this notice will be allowed into the Consulate. For security reasons, entrance into the Visa Department is only at fixed hours, every thirty minutes. 2/ Before you arrive at the Consulate, MAKE SURE that YOU HAVE ALL THE NECESSARY DOCUMENTS listed on the website www.consulfrance-newyork.org in order to apply for the relevant visa. You must PRESENT ALL THE ORIGINAL DOCUMENTS PLUS ONE PHOTOCOPY OF EACH OF THESE. 3/ Applicants who have to produce a medical insurance must present a letter from a medical insurance, stating that they will be covered, for a minimum amount of 45,000 US Dollars, for the duration of their stay in the Schengen zone, for any medical, hospitalization and repatriation expenses. These three words must be in the letter. Medical insurance cards are not taken into consideration. Important: If you are unable to attend your appointment, the French Consulate Services would appreciate your informing them cancelling the appointment by means of the "Booking, changing or cancelling an appointment" interface on their website.
