Two businesses on our doorstep I

There are a lot of different type companies in the world such as international, local, profit or non-profit companies. Those examples are contrasting ones. The difference between the companies and how a company works will be explained.

A closer look at the companies

The first company is The Rabobank Group, which is located all over the world. The Rabobank Group is an international financial servicer on cooperative principles, which is active in Retail banking, wholesale banking, property management, leasing and real estate.

The interests of the Rabobank Group are the interest of the people and communities. Because of that goal the Rabobank Group wants to be a propel and renovating force. The Rabobank Group also wants to contribute to a durable development and to the prosperity and social welfare. To realize the present and future ambitions of people and communities is a goal for the Rabobank group. The reinforcement of the corporation between the bank, the customers and single persons is one of the opportunities as is the advice for the best financial solutions for a specific situation. The Rabobank is not listed on the stock market, so they don’t have stakeholders. They sell member-certificates to members. With a member-certificate you become an owner of a part of one branch of the Rabobank group and you get dividend paid.

The second company is CBR (Centraal Bureau Rijvaardigheid). CBR is not an international company. The headquarters of CBR is located in Rijswijk. CBR is a private foundation on behalf of the minister of Transport, Public Works and Water Management. CBR’s purpose is to improve the road safety and expertise in the sector traffic and transport. CBR gives substance to this by handing Statement of driving ability, expertise and the authority to drive. There is no owner of the foundation, because the foundation is a legal person.
