Department: Program: Project Name: Project Manager Central Services Office Facilities Management Sheriff's North Precinct Tim Lawry PROJECT CHARACTERISTICS 2290 Columbia Blvd, Titusville Location: Start Date 12/13/2011 End Date Jul-14 Description: On December 13, 2011, the Board approved construction of a new Brevard County Sheriff's Office North Precinct. The new 20,000 square foot North Precinct facility will be located on the site of the vacated DMV building. This property offers good access to US1 and I-95. Co-locating next to Fire Station 24 offers additional advantages to providing public safety services. The new facility will be for the Patrol and investigative units assigned to the North Brevard area, and will provide upgraded security and faster response times for the precinct jurisdiction. Design is complete, and project is currently in the bidding and permitting phase.
