* What is art? Define the visual arts, music, architecture, and literature.

* What is the role of the artist? To what extent do artists express or influence culture?

Culture is the basis of life, people having their own sets beliefs and a way of life where they come from. This can be express through many different ways such as art. Art is a expression of creativity. There are many different ways to express art such as visual art, music, architecture and literature. Visual art is anything that can be seen and is experienced by sight for example looking at a painting, pictures from photography, sculptures, and architecture. Music is an art that we hear and sounds are created to make rhythm and noise. Architecture is art by a design of a building or site that was built to combine practical use and an expression of art, this is usually a reflection of society of which it was built in. Literature is art through words that is written for reading material which can be fiction or non-fiction poetry and anything that is not poetry is considered prose which can relate to a lot of other things such as autobiography, biography, history, and it sets the theme or mood in ways of expression. The role of the artist is the one who is usually considered as an independent worker who dedicated themselves to creating meaningful artistic work. Their influences on culture is to provide the experience in an artistic form to grasp the meaning of their beliefs, thoughts or feelings.
