Article: Six tips to managing workplace conflict

The article cover six tips that can help manage workplace conflict and the factual information about conflict. Human resource managers have reported to spend 24 to 60 percent of their time dealing with disputes. According to a study conducted by the Society of Human Resources Management, the number of violent incident has been increasing steadily. Sixty percent of the respondent mentioned that violence had occurred in their organization during the past three years, and they have identified personality conflict as the leading cause. According to a recent survey conducted by the researchers at the University of North Carolina, fifty-three percent of the co-workers have reported they lost time at work worrying about a past or future confrontation.
