Only if I could

Only if I could, I would forever sleep on my mom’s lap. There is no other place like it. There is no other place which is as warm and cozy and as protective and comforting.

Only if I could, I would forever sit by the riverside and read my favorite books. Its so good to live a vicarious life and forget about the mundane affairs of life.It is such a luxury these days to be lost into a world in which you can forget about every obligation and live a life you enjoy the most.

Only if I could, I would forever chat with my best friends without worrying about being politically correct or behaving in a certain way which is socially acceptable. We were not put into this world to make people around us happy. We were put into this world to live which has, unfortunately, taken a back seat.

Only if I could, I would always choose my heart over my mind. As cliched as it may sound, the heart is always correct. But, just to appear to be good, we choose to supress what really makes us happy.

Only if I could, I would shun the false façade that we have learned to carry. A good heart always identifies a good heart and where there is goodness, there is no need to be fake. Respect and love is not earned because of one’s age or position. It is goodness that reciprocates into goodness.

It is important to be good and not just appear to be good. If I could, I would definitely do that.
