Whistle-blowing should be reported for our well-being

Working into a company employees are witness of some malicious things. Such things are usually wrong and immoral which it is called unethical behaviour. The witness is then facing a situation which he has no idea of what he should do. Should he just ignore what he just saw and keep working as usual, or should he report this ethical violation of the company by also risking his job. Whistleblowing is defined as reporting all unethical behaviour in a company to the upper manager in order to make stop this violation because this is illegal activities going on. Every employee should report all ethical violators. After summarizing the issue of whistleblowing, I will demonstrate that while there are many disadvantages, reporting unethical behaviour has many advantages too.

First of all, an employee owes a duty of loyalty to the society goodness. Whistle-blowing is reporting all unethical behaviour, injustice, or abuse by an employee of that company. Reporting someone’s doing non-honest thing protect society from all unethical behaviour. Also, it makes sure employers are practicing legal business and ethical behaviour. Moreover, reporting provide justice and protection to the society. A personal example, one employees used to work same place as me, Maxi. This cashier wasn’t scanning article when his friends were coming buying at her cash. She even dares stealing credit card from customer without giving them back to the customer while the customer wasn’t paying attention, if the customer doesn’t forgot. Most of times, customer might pay attention while other times, this cashier got credit card, and goes buying whatever she wants to.
