What are open air festivals? How do they work? How are they organized? What are the main dynamics of the festivals? etc.

General
The groups will focus on the different festivals and carnivals all around the world. Each group will focus on the history of the festival, its organisation, the target audience, the venue of the event and its sponsors in general. Each paper must compose of an introduction, a body and a conclusion.
Group 1: Rock’n Coke
(Ezgi Beyhan, Ali Erişkin, Melis Hatipoğlu, Anıl Sayan)
• The conceptual background.
• Its line up.
• Relationship between the brand and the festival. (Are there any other examples?)
• The collaboration of Pozitif and IKSV for this festival.
• Risks of the dates of the festival.
• Publicity and media coverage.
• Comparison between Rock’n Coke and Barışa Rock.
Group 2: Barışa Rock
(Yavuz Akat, Deniz Azakoğlu, Gizem Baysal, Çağlar Çetin, Mehmet Sina Gürbüz)
• The conceptual background.
• Its line up.
• Risks and the advantages of the dates of the festival.
• Publicity and media coverage.
• Comparison between Barışa Rock and Rock’n Coke.
• Its competitive value.
Group 3: Woodstock
(Alican Arkun, Zeycan Duygu Bayram, Erdem Dilbaz, Zeynep Yıldızaç, Dila Yolga)
• The conceptual background.
• Its line up.
• Comparison between the different conceptual backgrounds of Woodstock festivals.
• Political, social and behavioral backgrounds of the each festivals.
• Changing styles.
• From counter culture to consumer society.
• Other festivals or cultural products that stemmed out of Woodstack. (Especially on Turkey)
