Finding time to incorporate school with work, family and be a good husband can be a job itself. I have asked myself is my family feeling the burden of my absence, how long can I maintain my fulltime status job and have enough time to commit to school work? I often have trouble finding the time to complete my assignments while juggling a family and work, how would I be able to continue a new chapter in my life when I am trying to be a good employee, parent, and husband? Worst of all I tend to do what grabs my attention first instead of following my list. I feel that in order to improve and be successful with how I manage my time, which is a problem I face in my day-to-day, I would need to make adjust on how I manage my time and hopefully be more productive.
On most days I find myself starting my day at 3:30AM. By 4:00AM I am heading out to my one and half hour commute to work. At 5:30AM I am responding to emails and writing reports to my manager. At 6:00PM I find myself leaving work and heading to catch happy hours for one hour before heading home. My topical day at home my son always likes to play with me before I start my homework. I found that by the time I am doing my homework, I am felling asleep and my day ends.
The problem I face with time management is with work and my family, school often comes last when I know it should be my priority. Having a list and understanding of how much time each tasks will require my time calls for a well thought-out plan. Understanding and grasping the concept of what I read in ebook on time managing will help me identify those problems, learning how use it as a reference guide, and applying them to solve my problematic issues truly will enable to me to time manage better.
