Development of a Training and Mentoring Program

The goal for the team is be successful. The team that I have assembled is made up individuals who possess a great deal of knowledge and is at the for front of making InterClean, Inc. a company that people will want to use to meet their cleaning needs. The team will be successful because of the fact they are eager to broaden their knowledge base and customer service skills. Developing a strong training and mentoring program is a requirement to make sure goals are met.

Assessing the new sales team there are many areas that need to be addressed by training. The merger of InterClean, Inc. and EnviroTech, Inc. gives us the opportunity to incorporate two different approaches used by the companies. The first training that I will put together with the assistance of human resources is a complete integration of the two companies goals, policy and procedures and missions. Doing this will give the team a strong foundation to build upon for the future. Using the knowledge base of team members will give each other a better understanding of how their respective companies previously performed duties and tasks.

InterClean, Inc. will be rolling out new programs to offer existing customers and new customers. These new programs will involve using new products, so setting up training seminars with the manufacturers is important. I will work with these manufacturers on obtaining product information and end user information for the sales team.

The objective to training is to make sure that the sales team understands what they are selling, who they are selling to, company sales goals, and how to cross-train end users in the products.
