Summary
Plot: There was a poor man named Mario who was fired from his job. He lost his job because of one single apple. He has a wife named Gloria who was worried. He also has a daughter named Tito. His wife asked why he was fired for stealing an apple. He told her he found a new job, but he didn’t say he was working with Pablo.
Conflict: One day, Mario sat on a bench and buried his hands on his face. His wife came to him and asked what was wrong. He said that he lost his job by stealing one apple. His wife asked why he lost his job by stealing one, single apple. He answered by saying that the company he works for was waiting for him to make a mistake.
Climax: His wife was asking why he stole it in the first place. He was thinking about his daughter, Tito crying because they didn’t have enough for her to buy an apple. Mario said to Gloria he found a new job. His friend, Pablo went in and asked how their daughter is. He told them that he could loan them some money but Mario refused. Pablo explained that Mario’s new job was with him. Gloria got mad and complained why Mario working with him. Pablo told her how long did Mario and him went together to first class air-conditioned movie houses every other day.
Denouement: Gloria was pleading Mario not to go with Pablo. He went with Pablo anyway to go somewhere. Gloria cried and hoped that Mario is safe. She kept on saying Mario when she was drowned in sorrows. Her daughter came to her and joined her in crying.
