I. Summary:

Since 1979, Mr. Andy Mallari’s business is inclined into a repairing or assembling electronics related appliances. He even constructed a two-storey building back in 1990 to open a shop for sales and repair which is fortunately very successful on other big towns. But Mr. Mallari’s perspective changed when he reunited with his former classmate Estelito Chan on a reunion of their university. Apparently, Mr. Chan owned an assembly plant in Manila. Mr. Mallari think that he can also be successful in that business so he’s planning on following his friend’s footstep. And he think that his three sons can help him establishing that business after they’ve graduated into an engineering school.

II. Statement of the problem:

Mr. Mallari’s problem now is what could be the perfect courses for his children that can be of great help when he start his assembly plant business.

III. Alternative Courses of Action:

1. Considering that Mr. Mallari’s first son is just about to enter college and cannot help him yet. If he wants to start the assembly plant as early as possible, he could have ask his friend, Mr. Chan to help him or ask for a technique on how could that business be successful.

2. He could ask his three sons to all enter an engineering school and major in different field of engineering related to the business he want to start.

3. One or two of his son could enter engineering and the other could study business courses to help him increase the possibility of success of the assembly plant.

4. If he really want to start that kind of business then he can do so and work hard to make it successful by himself. Just let his children decide what they really want to study in college.
