Strategic planning is considered to be as a forward-looking practice and all supervisors should be engaged with it. In case, the strategic plan exists and well applied, a company will face little or no contest in controlling external modifications. For companies to endure, it must be capable of operating positively with environmental causes that are volatile and unmanageable and which can significantly impact the decision making procedures. Companies adjust to these environmental causes as they plan and perform strategic actions. It is by the adaptation of strategic preparing that a company can estimate variations in the business environment and performs pro-actively (Vorhies and Morgan 2003).
