1. How would creating a new coordinating position between the CEO and the location managers help the business to grow?

When creating this position Dalman and Lei will have the time to concentrate on building the business. The person in charge will be handling day to day operations of the stores. The store managers would report to this person instead of Dalman and Lei. This person will be in charge of the duties that Dalman and Lei had.

2. Is promoting an existing manager the best option to fill this position? If not, what is an alternative source to fill the position?

This decision can go either way. When promoting an existing manager, Dalman and Lei know that this person is reliable. This person can manage a store without problems and knows what the business is all about. Another option would be to hire a person from the outside of the business. In this case this person might bring new ideas that could help the business be more efficiently. Regardless of whether Dalman and Lei hire someone from the outside or within the business, this person has to be qualify to handle the responsibilities.

3. Who within the company should make these decisions?

This decision has to be made by Dalman and Lei. They have to together find a person that they trust to do this task. If they are the ones that hire this person, they can show this person exactly what they do, how to do it and answer any question this person might have.
