Introduction
According to the FAR Subpart 1.6, a Contracting Officer is responsible “for ensuring performance of all necessary actions for effective contracting, ensuring compliance with the terms of the contract, and safeguarding the interests of the United States in its contractual relationships.” A contracting officer has been chosen to take over the position as a Contractor of a newly created firm named Mace, Inc. based upon the responsibilities attached to their title. This paper will provide details of the products and services offered by Mace, Inc. as well as discuss acceptable ethical guidelines for this newly developed company.
