Introduction

Entertainment is the only way of refreshment. So the way of gaining entertainment is changing over the time. There are some groups who are serving entertainment towards different kind of people. They have taken it as a business purpose and they are gaining profit from their business. But this business of serving entertainment is differing from country to country and culture to culture. The choice of people, cultural value, moral, environment and the overall structural and financial conditions are variable which are liable for these differences.

Bangladesh is a country from third world. Poverty and illiteracy are great barriers for improving their overall condition and facilities. Television is the biggest source of entertainment here because of it’s availability and user friendly options. People all over the country love to enjoy TV programs. Radio was a great source at very past but in recent past they lose their market which replaced by TV. But from last three years Radio(fm) has come back with a new approach and metro people are loving the music of FM radios and these radios are doing business as well they are growing there market share day by day.

Internet was not so available in Bangladesh. But it’s now available everywhere because of the rapid development in telecommunication sector. So internet is going to be a new source of entertainment for the educated people. Online radio is a very new thing for our country but now it is existed in our country and it’s also growing up in it’s own way. Within one year period it has gained a great success. And this research is done over the topic of the probability of increasing the listeners of online radio in Bangladesh.
