Creativity Self-Analysis Paper

In my definition of creativity is someone who is able to think beyond their imagination or thinking outside the box. Each person has its own unique of individual creativity. However, others do not or just plain incapable of having creativity, due to either lack of knowledge or laziness.

Within myself, I have learned that I am one creative individual by having my own unique thoughts and ideas to certain aspect of, whether it would be in life or general. I find that my creativeness does not just come naturally, but rather from experiences and learning from others. One example of my creativity is that I have a gift of talent when it comes to scrapbooking. Many people may use scrapbooking as just their plain old hobby, but as for me, it is more than that. During my engagement moment, I created my own wedding invitation rather than buying some very expensive pre-made announcement. Unfortunately, for some people, it is the lack of patience that they have; in result may cost them more money out-of-their pocket rather than save. This is one scenario where I know I am creative or I shall say wiser when it comes to such event.

My creativity occurs on special or under circumstances more often than anything else. However, it really depends on each scenario as well. For example, I am a teacher at Rogich Middle School, and as a seventh grade English and Reading teacher, often ideas comes into my mind during my last period in regards to my teaching techniques. Part of this is because; though the school district requires us to have some type of lesson plans written, it is a norm that our plans tend to change more often than none. Each time I get a chance to recall my teaching guide, I find myself creating better ideas on how to teach each plan so that in the future it is smoother and helps diffuse my stress level.
