THESIS STATEMENT:

While the story behind the Passion of The Christ promotes Christianity, the Jewish religion contradicts the credibility of the story behind the Passion of The Christ.

The film is subitled, as it was largely shot in the languages of the period, Aramaic and Latin.

Passion of the Christ goes far beyond entertainment value because it mainly centers around Christian values. Many in the Jewish culture felt that the Passion of the Christ promoted anti-semetism, which developed a lot of controversy towards the film; however, most would agree that the film was more about the sacrifice Jesus went through to save humanity than it was about the people who martyred him.
